Our 16th wedding season is just getting underway and it’s been an interesting ride! We have seen a shift over the years from a head heavy spring time load of weddings, to a bit more action in the Autumn these days.

We’ve got more shifts here than a five-speed manual! Spring was once our main squeeze, but now Autumn’s the new bride in town. Why? Because the valley’s hotter than a chef’s temper at a food critic. And with more people moving into the valley than a hit song’s dance floor, it’s no wonder everyone’s looking to tie the knot when they’re less likely to melt into their wedding cakes.

As the seasons shift, so too does our menu, evolving faster than my relationship status—just kidding, I'm like a fine wine, I get better with time and a bit more complex. For those crisp autumn evenings, we've swapped out the light and breezy spring salads for hearty, soul-warming dishes. Think butternut squash risotto that's as smooth as my dance moves at the reception, and apple cider braised pork that falls off the bone like guests slipping off their high heels after the ceremony. We're all about capturing the essence of autumn, not just in the ambiance but in every bite. Because, let's face it, if you're going to dance the night away under a harvest moon, you need fuel. And what better way to celebrate love than with food that makes you feel like you're wearing a warm hug? Now, if only I could figure out how to make my playlist as appealing as my menu, we'd be golden.
