Root Beer Bar For Events

We had a fantastic wedding this week at Arya Reception Hall in Mesa! What made it especially exciting for us was discovering some root beer extract in our kitchen, prompting us to surprise the bride and groom with a cocktail hour root beer bar. They were an amazing couple to work with, and it was a pleasure to surprise them with this setup, especially after finding out the groom is a HUGE fan of root beer!

Our setup was simple: a portable bar, a club soda machine, and our root beer extract, which we combine with an all-natural simple syrup. But here’s where it gets even better… we add a homemade, real vanilla extract sweetened heavy cream. Pour that into a cup with some ice and our root beer extract, and you’ve got something that tastes like a homemade root beer float after the ice cream has been devoured and the remaining root beer infused with the melted vanilla ice cream. What a hit! The guests couldn’t get enough and nearly drank us out of house and home.

This was the second time we’ve featured this root beer bar, and we can’t wait to do it again. We’re even considering incorporating it into our bartending service, so we can add a little rum into the mix. And it gets better: we make other sodas, lemonades, and teas as well, which go great with catering for any type of event.
